What the checks mean
Verified by Galactrex
Next to a page name. We checked by hand that the page belongs to the person, band or business it names, with proof such as mail from their own domain or a post from their own account. We give it. Nobody can buy it.
Verified owner
Next to a link. The page owner proved the linked account is theirs: they put a code we gave them in that account's bio, and our server found it there. We check again regularly. If the link changes, the check goes.
Neither check is an endorsement. A check says who runs the page, not that we vouch for what they post.
